Some lovely musicians came in to visit us, to play music and sing with the residents. There were tambourines and other instruments on offer. And with some of the bells being fitted to residents’ feet while they were sitting down, there were no excuses not to join in.
Live music and singing are always real mood lifters, and when residents can join in, it’s even better.
We’ve also spent some time making Halloween decorations, so that Timberlog looks a little bit spooky. Fortunately, the spiders aren’t real!
The cakes we make every weekend are definitely real though and it’s something we all really enjoy rolling our sleeves up for. We’ve got Christmas cake plans ready to go, along with a lot of festive activities too.
