All Abbeyfield professional staff are qualified to NVQ level 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care and DBS checked. We invest in our employees by offering ongoing professional development. This is to ensure we continue to deliver the highest possible standards.

Staff receive regular training and annual update courses. Ongoing training includes the latest in health and safety regulations, food hygiene, bereavement training & more.

Abbeyfield Basildon is also accredited under the government’s Supporting People programme, set up to improve the quality and effectiveness of the support provided to vulnerable people in the community. This means that we follow the stringent good practice guidelines.
