Tis the season to be jolly and that has certainly been the case for our Timberlog residents and staff over the last couple of weeks. December has been packed full of festive fayre, including a visit from Puss In Boots. A pantomime troupe visited the house, bringing the traditional tale of the clever cat, up close and personal. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the interactive nature of the performance, getting stuck in with gusto!
Another highlight was our Christmas party which saw families and grandchildren spending an enjoyable afternoon with their loved ones. Visitors tucked into the magnificent Christmas buffet spread, featuring the cake that residents had baked and decorated themselves.
More delicious food was on the menu when staff and residents sat down together for our house Christmas dinner. It was a marvellous feast with all the usual trimmings, plenty of bubbles and lots of fun and laughter, proving it’s not what’s under the tree at Christmas that matters, but who is gathered around it.
