Christmas is a time when friends and family get together to celebrate the festive season and at Abbeyfield we hold an annual Christmas party at each house, to do just that. Residents and their invited guests thoroughly enjoyed socialising at this year’s lively parties, which are also attended by Abbeyfield staff and volunteers.
We were delighted with the strong turnout, as in total we entertained around 85 people across the two events. Mulled wine and a generous finger buffet put everyone in the party mood, while the raffle, which featured prizes donated by both residents and staff, raised funds for future events and outings.
It was wonderful to see everyone having fun, engaging in animated conversations and experiencing the warm, homely atmosphere we foster at Abbeyfield. We look forward to welcoming our visitors back over the course of the year ahead and thank everyone for their ongoing support.
