At Abbeyfield, we understand that each of our residents in our retirement housing will enjoy spending their time in different ways. For that reason, we do not insist that residents participate in organized pursuits. However, we do hold monthly residents meetings to gather opinions and ideas about the activities residents would like. For those who wish to participate, we arrange a host of engaging and varied on and offsite pastimes.
These activities include cake baking, regular film nights, trips to Southend, outings to the bingo or to see shows, meals out and much more.
Although our activities are a great way to try something new and build relationships with your fellow retirement housing residents, we do not enforce these at Abbeyfield, you choose when and how you would like to join in.
