We’ve been enjoying the garden, when the weather has been kind. Our May Bank Holiday was jam packed with activities, including prize bingo, and arts and crafts. We also watched the film We Bought a Zoo, complete with choc ices during the interval.

On 16th June we had our strawberry cream tea garden party, which coincided with the Abbeyfield week. The party was for residents, family and friends. And despite the fact it was Father’s Day, we had over 70 guests.

The weather was good and we managed to stay outside all afternoon. The talented Karen baked homemade scones, a Victoria sandwich, Bakewell tarts and cupcakes. Yummy! We held a name the bunny competition, and our raffle, which raised £469 for our future outings. Oh, and the bunny is now going by the name of Barry.
