We held a Christmas party for the residents and families, and everyone had a great time. We had some party food, mulled wine and a raffle finished off the afternoon.
Some local preschool children came to visit us and sing carols. After they had sung, they sat and chatted to the residents. It was really lovely and got us all in the Christmas spirit.
We also enjoyed our Christmas lunch. Around 20 of us had the delicious meal, complete with crackers and paper hats.
The building work at Octagon goes on and this month a new lift was fitted. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished product now.
In January, we’re finishing our Christmas traditions with a trip to the panto. Merry Christmas from everyone at Octagon. We’re looking forward to enjoying more activities and day trips in 2019.
