As we head into autumn, there are plenty of seasonal events that take place in the local community and thanks to our close links with various organisations, we ensure that our residents have the opportunity to be a part of these.

One such event is Harvest Festival and at Timberlog we were recently visited by the Minister from Trinity Methodist, a local church. He conducted a Harvest service for us in the communal lounge, complete with hymns and a reading.

This meant that our residents could enjoy taking part from the considerable comfort of their chairs, joining in the singing enthusiastically. Afterwards everyone gave thanks again – this time for the tea, coffee and home-made cakes which were served to refresh the small congregation!
